- ENGLISH 6 Planning date: 8/1/2023 Period 51: A. Objectives: 1. Knowledge. By the end of the lesson, students will be able to: - review all the vocabulary from unit 4 to unit 5. - review the use of English: Adverbs of frequency; Present Simple for Future use; Demonstrative (this, that, these, those); Countable & Uncountable nouns; A/an, some/any. 2. Skill: Students can improve Listening, Reading skills, Vocabulary; grammar and Pronunciation. 3. Attitude: Students have positive attitude in English language learning so that they actively participate in all classroom activities. 4. Competencies: - love their home, their school and love their friends. B. Method. Communicative approach C. Teaching aids. - Teacher’s aids: student book and teacher’s book, class CDs, flashcards, projector or TV - Students’ aids: Student books, notebooks, workbooks. D. PROCEDURES I. Warm up: (5’) 1. Objective: Introduce the new lesson and set the scene for students to acquire new language; get students' attention at the beginning of the class by means of enjoyable and short activities as well as to engage them in the steps that follow. 2. Content: Revision of vocabulary. 3. Product: Students can use the vocabulary learnt in the unit actively and correctly. 4. Competence: Collaboration, guessing, listening. 5. Organization of the activity: - Have students watch an animation: Mr. Bean doing housework. ( then answer the question: what household chores does Mr. Bean do? - Students volunteer to answer the question. - Teacher and other students follow and give feedback. Answer: clean the floor, clean the toilet, do the laundry, clean things, bake cake, clean the closet, vacuum the floor. => Lead to the new lesson. II.
