  1. WEEK 5 LỚP 1 Teaching date: 15/10/2021 Period 4 UNIT 2: SCHOOL Lesson 1(A-E) I. Objectives: By the end of this lesson, students will be able to gain the following 1. Knowledge Languages focus: Vocabulary: pencil, book, bag Structures: • It’s a (pencil). 2. Language skills - Understand and follow simple instructions in class. - Ask and answer the question related to numbers (How old are you?) 3. Core competencies & Personal qualities - Building up interests and good habits in learning English. - Building up responsive and independent-working characteristics to be a life-long learner. - Presenting communicative skills through learning activities in classrooms. - Being collaborative and supportive in teamwork. II. Teaching aids Teacher’s aids: student book and teacher’s book, class CDs, flashcards, IWB software, projector/interactive whiteboard/TV. Students’ aids: Student book, notebooks, workbook. III. Procedures:
  2. New lesson A- Listen and point. Repeat. CD1-Track 25: 1. Have students listen to each new word. 2. Have students listen to each new word and repeat all together and individually. Correct student’s pronunciation if necessary. 3. Arrange the flashcards on the board. Play audio and have students listen and point at the pictures in their books. 4. Play audio again and have students listen, repeat several times. 5. Change the order of the flashcards, point at them individually and have students say the words, correct pronunciation when needed. 6. Have students work in pairs, one points at the picture in the book and the other says the word 7. TPR practice step 1: say the word and make the gesture/ sound all together according to the word 8. TPR practice step 2: do the actions and students say the word accordingly 9. TPR practice step 3: have students work in pairs, 1 would do the action, the other say the word Activities: (optional) - Option 1: Play "Heads up. What's Missing?" • Divide the class into two teams. • Arrange the flashcards on the board and remove one card when students are not looking. • One student from each team calls out the missing flashcard.   3. 1. Pre- listening: Introduce the situation, point at each person/things in the picture and have students call out the words. 2. While- listening:  Play audio and have students look at the picture.  Demonstrate the activity by pointing at the things in the picture. 3. While-listening: Play the audio again. Have students listen and repeat. 4. While-listening: Play audio again. Have students listen and point. 5. Post- listening: Point at each picture and have students call out the words again “pencil/ book/ bag. C. Now, sing a song. (7’) 1. Play audio and have students listen. 2. Play audio and have students turn to page 68. 3. Play audio and have students sing the song as a whole class. 4. Have some students sing in front of the class. D- Point and say. Practice (optional) 1. Show a flashcard to the class. 2. Have students practice the structure using the new word. 3. Repeat with other flashcards. e.g. (Teacher shows the flashcard "pencil") • Class: “It’s a pencil.” Point and say: 1. Divide the class into pairs. 2. Have Student A point to the pictures and Student B say “It’s a pencil/ ”. 3. Swap roles and repeat.
  4. 4. Afterwards, have some pairs demonstrate the activity in front of the class. E- Play “Guess the object.” (10’) 1. Divide the class into pairs. 2. Have students look at the example. 3. Have Student A cover their eyes while Student B gives them an object to touch. 4. Have Student A try to guess what the object is. 5. Have students swap roles and repeat. 4. Objectives:After completing this lesson, Ss will be able to gain the following: 1. Knowledge - Vocabulary: circle, square, rectangle, triangle - Structures: What shape is it? It's a (triangle). 2. Language skills - Ask and answer about the shape of objects 3.   5. Warm-up Sing “How are you?” (Feelings) song (Source: New lesson A. Listen and point. Repeat. (CD1 - Track 28) • Use some pictures to introduce the shapes (circle, square, rectangle, triangle). • Have students listen to each new word. • Have students listen to each new word and repeat all together and individually. Correct student’s pronunciation if necessary. • Arrange the flashcards on the board, play audio, and point to each flashcard. • Play audio again and have students point to the numbers in their books. • Play audio again and have students listen and repeat. • Have students work in pairs, one points to the shapes and one says the words. Swap roles and continue. Option 1: Play "Heads up. (CD1 – Track 30) • Have students turn to page 70. • Play audio and have students listen. • Read the lyrics and do actions following them. • Play audio and have students listen, sing along, and do the actions. • Divide the class into two groups, one sings the questions and one sings and draw in the air the answers. D. Point, ask and answer. Point, ask, and answer. • Divide the class into pairs. • Have Student A point to a picture and ask, have Student B answer. • Swap roles and repeat. • Afterwards, have some pairs demonstrate the activity in front of the class. E. Play "Guess the picture”. • Have students look at the example. • Divide the class into two teams. • Have a student stand facing away from the board and stick a flashcard on the board behind them.

Continue the game to the end. LỚP 3 Teaching date: 11/10/2021 Period 20 UNIT 4: HOW OLD ARE YOU? Lesson 1(1-3) I. Objectives. - By the end of the lesson, students will be able to: 1. Knowledge: - Ask and answer question about someone. - Sentence Patterns: Who’s that? − It’s_____. - Vocabulary: Mr Loc, Miss Hien, Tony, who’s 2. Skills: - Develop Ss listening and speaking 3. Attitude/ Quality: - Ss confident in communicate with their friends. - Ss love English, friends and teacher. 4. Forming competence: - Ss ask and answer questions about someone. - Active participate in groups, ready to help their friends.

Warmer: - Greet Ss and have them reply. - Walk around the class to ask the names of some specific Ss. - Ask Ss sing the song on page 23 of their book. Task 1: Look, listen and repeat. - Have Ss open their books page 24. - Ask Ss to identify the characters and guess what the character are saying. - Use 2 puppets to present the situation. - Play the tape. - Play the tape again. - Ask Ss a few questions to ensure Ss’ comprehension of the text in the speech bubbles.
