  1. WEEK 10 LỚP 1 Date of teaching:19/11/2021 Period 9 UNIT 4: MY BODY Lesson 2:1,2,4 I. Objectives: 1. Knowledge By the end of this lesson, students will be able to recognize and pronunciate the /e/ and /f/ sounds. 2. Competence - Raising interests and good habits in learning English - Building up an awareness of the living environment protection - Practicing communicative skills through learning activities - Demonstrating team-working and problem-solving skills through learning activities - Skills: listening and speaking 3. Personal qualities - Raising interests and good habits in learning English - Building up an awareness of the living environment protection II. Teaching aids: Teacher’s aids: student book and teacher’s book, class CDs, flashcards, IWB software, projector/interactive whiteboard/TV. Students’ aids: Student books, notebooks, workbooks. III. Procedures: 1. warmer: Mime - Have students work in small groups. - Call one student in each group to the front and secretly gives her or him a letter or a word on a piece of paper which describes letters or words. - Have students mime the words. - The other students try to guess the letters or the words. 2. Listen and repeat. Trace. CD1- Track 53 - Play audio. Have students listen and repeat. - Demonstrate tracing the letters with your finger. - Have students trace the letters with their fingers. (individuals/ pairs)
  2. - Have some students demonstrate the activity in front of the class. 3. Listen and repeat. CD1- Track 54 - Have students look at the picture. - Demonstrate the activity. - Play audio. Have students point to the letter as they hear it. - Play audio again. Have students listen and repeat. - Have some students demonstrate the activity in front of the class. 4. Listen and jump. CD1- Track 56 - Demonstrate the activity. - Have students stand up. - Have students jump when they hear the letter sound. Optional activity: Back- to- back - Pair off students. - Have students sit back-to-back. Student 1 speaks one letter, the other writes this letter on a piece of paper, then reverse roles. 5. Wrap-up Letter chain - Place letter cards from A to E on the board. - Ask one student to say the first letter. - Ask another student to say the next letter. - Continue with each student saying the next letter in the sequence, returning to the beginning when necessary. - Remove one letter. The class repeats the sequence, including the missing letter. - Remove one more letter each time, until students are saying the whole letters from their memory. IV. Knowledge: - Recognize the /r/ sound - Learn new words ( rabbit, robot) 2.Core competencies & Personal qualities - Raising interests and good habits in learning English - Building up an awareness of the living environment protection - Practicing communicative skills through learning activities - Demonstrating team-working and problem-solving skills through learning activities 3. Skills: listening and speaking . Teaching aids: Ss’ books, textbook, projector, flashcards. B. PROCEDURES * Warm up: Who is faster? Give the rule : There is a circle with the letters on the floor ( N, P, O, A, B,E) Two studenta stand in the middle. The teacher says a letter, the students run to the card and say the sound. The student say right is the winner. * New lesson - State the aims of the lesson - Introduce the new lesson and write on the board. I . Presentation 1. The letter R, the /r/ sound - Tell the class that they are going to learn a new letter/ sound - Show the card R (
