- Week: 0 planning date: 3/9/2022 Period 1. REVIEW Lesson 1: present simple and present perfect A. OBJECTIVES: 1. Knowledge: By the end of the lesson, ss will be able to: - Review present tenses: present simple, and present perfect 2. Skills: use of English 3. Attitude: - Positive about English speaking countries. - Students know how to learn English in right way. 4. Competence: Communication, self-learning capability, creative capacity, ability to use of language. 5. Grammar points: present tenses and present perfect B. PREPARATION: 1. Teacher: book, planning, picture, laptop, projector 2. Students: books, notebooks C. TEACHING METHODS: Communicative approach, group Ss and T’s activities, play as a character, teaching methods with game, teaching methods by visual, teaching methods by practising, discussion group, technical present . D. PROCEDURES I. Warm up: Present tenses: Review - Remind Ss about the use, form, distinct time signals of the present simple and present perfect 1. Present simple: *Form: (+) S + V(s/ es)............. (- ) s+don’t /doesn’t + v+o (?) Do /does +s+v+o? * Adverbs of time: every day/week/ year/ morning/ Sunday, on Mondays.... * Adverbs of frequency: once/ twice/ three times a week. always, usually, sometime, often, never..... use: - Diễn tả sự việc thường xẩy ra ở hiện tại . - Diễn tả sự thật luôn đúng 2. Present perfect: *Form : (+) S + have/ has + PP................. (-) S+ haven’t /hasn’t + PP....... (?) Has /have + S+PP ..? * Adverbs of time: since, for, never, ever, recently, lately, so far, yet, already, just..... * Verbs after: It's the first/ second.... time... *use: Diễn tả một hành động , sự việc bắt đầu trong quá khứ.

- Week: 0 planning date: 4/9/2022 Period 2. REVIEW Lesson 2: Past continuous & Past simple. A. OBJECTIVES: By the end of the lesson, ss will be able to know I. Knowledge - how to use the grammar points correctly: Past continuous & Past simple. - use the lexical items related to languages and language use and learning. II. Ability: - Students can improve their grammar, improve their speaking and writing - Students can develop their character: honesty, responsibility; communication, ability to use language, self-study, co-operation. - distinguish the differences between the past tense and the past continuous III. Quality: - Students have positive attitude in English language learning to participate in all classroom activities . B. TEACHING AIDS - Teacher’s aids: student book and teacher’s book, class CDs, flashcards, ISB software, projector/interactive whiteboard/TV. - Students’ aids: Student books, notebooks, workbooks. C. PROCEDURES I. Warm up : Chatting - What did you do yesterday? - What did you do last Sunday? - What were you doing at 8 pm yesterday? - What were you doing at 9 am last Sunday? II. Presentation Activity 1: Past continuous. - Asks Ss to read this sentence .Do you remember when we use past continuous tense - Asks ss to give the form and use . a. Form: (-) Positive: S + were/ was + V-ing (+) Negative: S + weren’t/ wasn’t + V-ing (?) Questions: Were/ Was + S + V-ing ? * Short answers: (+) Yes, S + were/ was. (-) No, S + weren’t/ wasn’t. b. Use - To describe an action that was in progress at a stated time in the past. Ex: At 6 pm yesterday, I was cooking.
- - To describe an action that was in progress when another shorter action happened. (this shorter action is expressed by the simple past.) Ex: When she phoned me last night, I was sleeping. She phoned me last night while I was sleeping. Activity 2: Past simple: *Form: (+) S+ Ved/V2 (-) S+ didn’t + V+... (?) Did + S+V+...? *signal to know: yesterday,ago,Last + N...... Knowlegde: By the end of the lesson, Ss will be able to use the future simple and verbs of liking + V-ing correctly and appropriately. *Structure: - Future simple tense - Verbs of liking + Ving 2. Competence: - Students talk what happen in the future, reading - Practice well all structures that they have learnt 3. Qualities: - Students love talking about the future - Hard - working B. TEACHING AIDS: - Teacher: internet, zoom, computer, power point lesson plan - Students: internet, zoom, computer/ ipad/ smart phone. C. PROCEDURES I. Warmer: II. The future simple tense * Form: (+) S + will/shall + V-inf . (-) S + will/shall + not + V-inf . (?) Will/Shall + S + V-inf .? Yes, S + will/shall / No, S + will/shall + not *Usage: - Diễn đạt một quyết định ngay tại thời điểm nói. Ex: Oh, I've left the door open. I will go and shut it. - Diễn đạt lời dự đoán không có căn cứ, chung chung. Ex: - People won’t go to Jupiter before the 22nd century. - Who do you think will get the job? - Dùng trong câu đề nghị, yêu cầu. Ex: - Will you shut the door? - Shall I open the window? - Shall we dance? - Câu hứa hẹn. Ex: I promise I will call you as soon as I arrive. - Dùng để nói về sự thật xảy ra trong tương lai.
