Knowledge . - Make use of learnt words and some useful expression in the topic of unit about leisure activities. 2. Ability: - Develop the ability to reading and speaking skills. - Communicate self-learn capacity, use language (talk about leisure activities) - Create capacity (making conversation) - Cooperate capacity (work in groups to finish the task) 3. Quality: - Students can love useful leisure activities for hardworking themselves. 4. Skills: reading, speaking II. Option 1: Chatting - Ask sts to answer the question: Do you like reading books? Do you like playing sports? 2. Pre- questions: - Ask Sts to open the textbook to the picture, introduce Mai, Phuc and Nick. Asks Sts to guess what they are doing. What can you see in the picture? Why do you think Mai, Phuc and Nick are there? What are they holding in their hands? What are they talking about? Can you guess what Mai, Phuc and Nick like doing in their free time? Knowledge . - Make use of learnt words and some useful expression in the topic of unit about leisure activities. - Know more about American’s leisure activities, how to express one’s leisure activities - Pronounce correctly the two sounds /br/ and /pr/. 2. Ability: - Develop the ability to listening and speaking skills. - Communicate, self-learn capacity, use language (talk about leisure activities) - Distinguish correctly the two sounds /br/ and /pr/ - Cooperate capacity (work in groups to finish the task) 3. Quality: - Love useful leisure activities for hardworking themselves. - Understand and do suitable leisure activities on an average day. 4. Skills: listening, speaking II. In 2012, people in the US spent 5.1 hours a day on sport and leisure activities. 2. 6. 1. Vocabulary: Activity 1: Matching words-category( Ex.3) - Asks Ss to look at the words and try to guess what these words have in common: What is the common verb we use with these things? How can we use this verb to describe the activity? Who do we often do these with? Where do often do these activities? Knowledge - Get to know the teacher and the book “English 9”. - Know how to learn this subject effectively. - Review some knowledge they learnt. II. Ability : - Develop ability to self- study and problem- solving. III. Quality : - Have positive attitude in English language learning. - Build their love for class and school. B. TEACHING AIDS - Teacher’s aids: student book and teacher’s book. - Students’ aids: Student books, notebooks, workbooks. C. PROCEDURE I. Warm-up: Listening to English song. -Ask Ss to listen to a song on youtobe: Chatting: - Introduce himself/herself then ask Ss some normal questions. II. Presentation: Activity 1. Introduce to text books. - Introduces. Activity 2: Introduce to learning methods. - Introduces to learning methods. - Ask Sts to listen and take note. III. Revision. 1. Tenses: - Ask Sts to tell the tenses they’ve learned in English 8 * Keys + Simple past. + Past continuos. + Present perfect. + Past perfect. - Ask Ss to repeat the uses and forms of each tenses. 2. Passive voice - Give Sts question: How is the passive sentence? - Have Ss give answers - Give feedback and evaluation.

9. Lesson plan 9 – Week 1 Date of planing: 11/ 9/ 2022 Period: 2 UNIT 1: Local Environment Lesson 1: Getting started A. AIMS OF THE LESSON By the end of this lesson, students will be able to: I. Knowledge - Listen and read for specific information about Nick's, Phuc's and Mi's visit to Bat Trang traditional craft village. - Know more about traditional craft villages and places of interest in our country. - Do some exercises with the lexical items related to traditional craft village. II. Ability : - Improve their listening and reading skills. - Develop the ability to cooperate with their partners, to self-study and to solve problems. - Positive about local environment. - Know how to learn English in right way. III. Quality : - Raise motivations and interests in learning English as a foreign language - Develop communicative and team-working skills through learning activities - Co-operate. - Self- study. - Be interested in and proud of the traditional crafts B. Attraction (n) = an interesting or enjoyable place to go or thing to do. Specific region (n) = a particular place. Set up (v) = start something. Take over (v) = take control of something. Remind (v) = make someone remember or think about something. - Have students listen and repeat each new word. (chorally – individually) - Correct student’s pronunciation if necessary. Activity 2: Set the scene. - Ask Sts some questions to lead in the conversation. How many people ? Where are they? What are they talking about? III.
