1. Lesson plan 8 – Week 12 Date of planing: 27/ 11/ 2022 Period 34 UNIT 4: CUSTOMS AND TRADITIONS. Lesson 7: Looking back A. OBJECTIVES: -.By the end of the lesson, sts will be able to: I. Knowledge: Revise all the vocabulary, grammar points they’ve learnt, practice doing exercises and speaking with friends about the customs and traditions. II. Competence: - Co- operation, Self-study, work in pairs, groups.... III. Qualities: - Hardworking, responsible and honest IV. Skills: Speaking, writing V. Grammar: should and shouldn’t, have to VI. Pronunciations :-pronounce the words containing clusters/ sk/ , / sp/ , and / st/ B. Teaching aids - Student’s books, textbooks, projector. C. PROCEDURES I. Wram up: Ask sts to come to the board to write as many customs and traditions they know as possible. II. Vocabulary 1. Activity 1 Ask sts to complete the exercise individually Ask them to share the answers with their partner Ask them to give the answer with the whole class Give the correct answers. 1- respect 2- worshipping 3- wrap 4- host 5- cutlery 6- generations 2. Knowledge. - listen and read the dialogue to get some information about the festivals in Viet Nam - know about activities of festivals in Viet Nam - 2. Ability: - Students can develop the ability to cooperate with their partners, to self-study, to solve problems - Students can improve their 2 skills. (Listening and Reading) 3. Quality: - Students have positive attitude in English language learning so that they actively participate in all classroom activities.. - Students can show their kindness to their hometown, country. By the end of the lesson, students will be able to: - know some words about the rituals, activities in festivals in Viet Nam - stress correctly multi-syllable words with –ion and –ian endings 2. Ability: - Students can develop the ability to cooperate with their partners, to self-study, to solve problems - Students can improve their listening skill 3. Quality: - Students have positive attitude in English language learning so that they actively participate in all classroom activities.. - Students can show their kindness to their hometown, country. Abilities: - Develop creativeness to protect and preserve wonders of Viet Nam. - Improve listening and speaking skills. 3. Qualities: - Express the love to the beauty of the places of Viet Nam. B. Knowledge: - Make the use of words related to wonders of Viet Nam. - Identify in which situations to stress short words in sentences (articles/ conjuntions) and say these sentences correctly. 2. Abilities: - Students can develop their communication skill, creativity, cooperation, self- studying and problem solving. - Improve listening and speaking skills. 3. Qualities: - Ss can show their knowledge about wonders of Viet Nam. - Express the love to the beauty of the country. B.
